Photos to showcase the rental

Getting Shots that attract tenants

A property owner in San Diego cannot rely on a written vacancy description to attract the curious. Prospective renters, especially those using mobile devices to house hunt, want to see what the place looks like. They will probably not schedule a viewing without an idea of the place. Every picture tells a story, and a well-done photo is an excellent advertisement for an available house. You need to display the right photos.

Images That Seal the Deal

Everyone takes a picture of the front of the house. How about an angled shot that shows the depth of the property? The backyard can be a good visual if the photo is taken correctly. Here are some other areas of the house that, if properly photographed, can lead to a scheduled viewing.

  • The kitchen. This is the room in a house where you will spend much of your time. If possible, a wide shot makes the kitchen look fantastic to any cook.
  • The bathrooms. There is no need to have an image of the toilet, but the bath and the sink are what they want to see.
  • The garage. It is not just a place to put the car; it is also used for storage. A wide shot of the garage suggests lots of space.
  • The view from above. If possible, having an aerial shot of the property also gives a prospective renter an idea of the neighborhood. This will require the use of a drone camera.
  • The living room. The family spends time here. A photo that emphasizes the light coming into the room will make that space look very appealing.
  • The dining room. People entertain in the living room and the dining room. A good dining room image allows a prospective tenant to think about family eating there and entertaining guests.
  • The closet. You might not want to show the closet in every room, but the one in the main bedroom will be important. It presents an idea of how spacious the area is for hanging up clothing.

We must emphasize that you should not use a cell phone camera! Photography tools like ISO and aperture make a lovely property look dazzling! A professional photographer specializing in real estate photography is the person you ought to take those photo shoots with. A good photographer does not come cheap, but that same person does not deliver cheap images. If you are renting a house that will fetch a monthly rent in the thousands of dollars, the cost of a good photographer is worth it.

Time Is Precious

Landlords in San Diego are terribly busy. They have numerous commitments and might not know any real estate photographers.
