Alta Vista Properties has been a family-owned business for over 30 years, and Jackie continues to be part of that legacy as an Owner and Broker, supporting Owner Relations and overall client experience. Her long-standing involvement with the company reflects a continued commitment to the values it was built on—personalized service, strong communication, and attention to detail.
With a deep background in construction, remodeling, interior design, and photography, Jackie brings a unique, hands-on perspective to property management. Her expertise contributes to the preparation, maintenance, and marketing of properties, helping to position each asset to achieve strong market performance while minimizing vacancy time.
As a long-time resident of La Jolla and Pacific Beach, Jackie offers valuable insight into the San Diego market. Her local knowledge allows her to thoughtfully guide owners in making informed decisions and understanding how to best position their properties.

Bob Davie
Owner Relations & Business Development/Broker
Bob Davie is a licensed California Broker and leads Owner Relations and Business Development for Alta Vista Properties, Inc. He brings over 35 years of professional business experience, including nearly two decades with major corporations such as Wendy’s International, Hallmark Cards, and Unifund, followed by more than 15 years as the owner of San Diego Residential Property Management.
Bob’s extensive background in real estate, property management, and finance has equipped him with deep expertise in marketing, landlord-tenant relations, financial analysis, and client relations. He is known for his ability to effectively communicate with clients, manage expectations, and deliver a high level of service while maximizing property performance.
He has held numerous leadership roles within the industry and community, including serving as Past President of the local chapter of the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM) and Past State Treasurer for Cal-NARPM. Bob currently serves on the Board of Directors for his local Rotary International Club and is an active member of the San Diego Association of Realtors (SDAR), California Association of Realtors (CAR), and National Association of Realtors (NAR). He also serves as Vice Chair of SDAR’s Professional Standards Board.
In addition, Bob frequently speaks on real estate and property management topics for local organizations, schools, and industry groups, and serves as an Expert Witness in real estate-related legal matters.

Sharyn Davie
Director Projects, Design & Asset Maintenance
Sharyn serves as Director of Projects, Design & Asset Maintenance at Alta Vista Properties, Inc., bringing over 40 years of experience across property management, hotel management, and financial services. As a former owner of a successful boutique property management company, she has managed all phases of residential property operations and brings a deep, hands-on understanding of asset performance.
In her current role, Sharyn leads major maintenance, renovation, and design initiatives across the Alta Vista portfolio. From full kitchen and bathroom remodels to exterior upgrades, pool and backyard transformations, and thoughtful enhancements in color, lighting, and finishes, she focuses on elevating each property to its highest potential.
Her work consistently results in increased rental value, stronger tenant quality, and improved long-term asset condition. Known for her keen eye for design and practical execution, Sharyn has built a reputation for transforming properties into highly desirable homes. Internally, her team has coined the term “Sharynization” to describe the dramatic transformation of a property from underperforming to standout.
Sharyn’s expertise provides a significant advantage to Alta Vista clients, ensuring that investment properties are not only well-maintained, but strategically improved to maximize performance and appeal.
Outside of work, Sharyn and her husband Bob have been part of the San Diego community for nearly 30 years. They enjoy spending time with their three grown children and seven grandchildren, as well as hosting friends and family and taking on design projects of their own.

Senior Property Manager
Katie Acampora is a Senior Property Manager at Alta Vista Properties, Inc. and a licensed California Real Estate Broker. She brings a leadership-driven approach to property management, overseeing portfolio performance, operational strategy, and cross-functional execution across leasing, maintenance, accounting, and client services.
In her role, Katie is responsible for driving operational consistency, scaling systems, and ensuring a high standard of service across the portfolio. She plays a key role in aligning team performance with company objectives, supporting growth initiatives, and enhancing the overall client and resident experience. Her expertise spans both high-level strategy and hands-on execution, allowing her to effectively lead while staying closely connected to day-to-day operations.

Maintenance Lead
Shelley serves as the Maintenance Lead at Alta Vista Properties, bringing over a decade of experience with the company. Since joining in 2011 as a receptionist, she has grown within the organization through her dedication, work ethic, and deep understanding of property management operations.
In her current role, Shelley oversees maintenance coordination, ensuring that repair requests are handled promptly and efficiently. She works closely with vendors, tenants, and the internal team to keep projects moving forward and to maintain the overall condition of each property.
Shelley also manages the move-in and move-out process, helping to ensure that properties are properly prepared and meet company standards before new tenants take possession. Her attention to detail and organization play a key role in minimizing vacancy time and maintaining property quality.
She maintains consistent communication with owners, keeping them informed of maintenance needs, approval items, and recommended repairs. Maintenance & Field Support Coordinator
Mike serves as the Maintenance & Field Support Coordinator at Alta Vista Properties, bringing a unique background in systems analysis, knowledge management, and process improvement. After an extensive career in corporate IT, he transitioned into property management with a strong focus on operational support and continuous improvement.
In his role, Mike supports the day-to-day maintenance operations by tracking work orders, coordinating with vendors, and helping maintain the AppFolio system to ensure accurate and up-to-date information. His technical background allows him to approach processes with efficiency and structure, contributing to smoother workflows across the team.
Mike is also an active presence in the field, assisting with property access, lockbox management, turnover inspections, and property photography. His hands-on involvement helps ensure properties are ready, well-documented, and maintained to company standards.

Gisell Alvarez
Trust Accountant
Gisell is the Trust Accountant at Alta Vista Properties, Inc, bringing over a decade of experience in property management accounting. Prior to joining Alta Vista, she worked in cost accounting within the construction industry, where she developed a strong foundation in budgeting, financial controls, and detailed reporting.
In her role, Gisell oversees the day-to-day financial activity of each property, including owner distributions, vendor payments, reconciliations, and financial reporting. She is responsible for ensuring all trust accounting is handled with accuracy, consistency, and full compliance with regulatory requirements.
Gisell works closely with the property management and operations teams to maintain clean financial records and support smooth, efficient processes across the portfolio. Her attention to detail and commitment to accuracy provide confidence to owners, tenants, and vendors alike, ensuring that all financial aspects of the properties are managed with care and precision.
